Engineering Manager (Ruby on Rails) (m/w/d)

As an Engineering Manager you will be directly responsible for building and improving our core staffing software. You will hire and lead an international, cross-functional engineering team.

• You are responsible for the technical direction and further development of our internal staffing platform and ensure that we are always at the cutting edge of technology
• You analyze technological trends and evaluate new tools and frameworks in order to continuously improve and develop our product
• You support your team in their professional and personal development, recognise individual strengths and ensure that each team member can develop their full potential
• You support your team with technical expertise and act as a mentor for less experienced engineers. Through regular code reviews, pair programming and feedback sessions, you will raise the quality of the team to the next level

• You have extensive experience in backend development with Ruby on Rails and a strong understanding of event based communication between services
• You think strategically and are able to put technical decisions in the context of the overall business goals
• You have a keen interest in leading a team and developing people
• You want to continuously develop yourself to find the best solution for our users
• You are interested in working in cross-functional teams and closely with the users of the software
