For the third time, jobvalley, Germany's largest digital platform for flexible jobs for students and graduates, and the Department of Labor Economics at Maastricht University have awarded the most popular companies for students and graduates.

Most attractive employer for students: IBM
Most attractive employer for graduates: Merck

Sustainability: Deloitte
Trustworthiness: 3M
Corporate culture: Audi

Cologne, May 17, 2022: Since 2020, when jobvalley presented the Students' Choice Awards for the first time, the jury is made up of the students themselves, representatively surveyed as part of the Fachkraft 2030 study. The awards are given to companies that are highly respected for a variety of reasons - as the most attractive employer during their studies or for graduates, as pioneers in equal opportunities or sustainability, for example. The awards are given out in a total of eight categories, including a special category that changes annually - in 2022: Corporate Culture.

"The Students' Choice Awards are always a highlight, for me as well. With the award, we give students and graduates a voice on their employer preferences, career plans and opinions on the positioning and behavior of companies. In this way, the award is also a mirror for companies - for their impact on young talent. I would like to congratulate all the award winners once again. They are honored for particularly outstanding achievements with regard to one of the most valuable aspects of today's working world: the next generation of young professionals."

- Eckhard Köhn, CEO jobvalley

"We are extremely pleased to receive the Students' Choice Award 2022 as the winner of the sustainability category. This is a valuable recognition for our employer branding work, but at the same time also a driver to continue with this journey.
For Deloitte, successfully managing opportunities and risks in the context of sustainability is a top priority. This results in a large number of attractive fields of activity in the context of the transformation of companies, in which we accompany and advise our clients from a wide range of industries. By 2025, Deloitte plans to create at least 500 new jobs with a focus on sustainability & climate. Above all, this means: challenging career prospects for talented people from a wide range of disciplines and the opportunity to actively shape the future."

- Jens Plinke, Head of Employer Branding & Talent Attraction Deloitte Germany

"All winners of the Students' Choice Awards 2022 emerge from the Fachkraft 2030 series. This means that the jury consists of more than 10,000 students from all over Germany every year. We have introduced our own methodology for the Students' Choice Awards, which differs from that of other employer rankings. I think this award is unique and extraordinary because of the large database and the scientific execution."

- Dr. Philipp Seegers, Research Fellow at Maastricht University School of Business and Economics and Study Director of the Fachkraft 2030 study series.
